They can also be used to determine how strong a team is, or perhaps even to make money as in the movie Moneyball. On our show today is Dr. Matthew Hoffman, Assistant Professor of Mathematics at the Rochester Institute of Technology. He’s going to talk to use about the statistics of sports.
