Either you try to reveal its “particle” characteristic or its “wave” characteristic. In other words “reality” is what you make of it. Absolute “reality” independent of your interaction is an illusion.

That the light would be measured as a particle and not a wave? That the light would be measured as a wave but not a particle? Or that both measurements would give results indicating that light is both a particle and a wave at the same time?
