I have been pretty much asking for this type of information whenever I enter a climate based discussion. I was never big on the idea that the temps are going to plummet and half the world population is going to starve from feet of snow in a day and grain shortages.

The very quotable physicist Georg Lichtenberg stated, “The most dangerous untruths are truths moderately distorted.” I am of the opinion this applies to the “Climate Change” née, Global Warming debate.

According to one school of thought, Earth is currently in an ice age, but the present time is part of an interglacial period within that ice age. Attempts to correlate solar activity with global temperatures have fallen short, which suggests that it just isn’t a key measure. To me, that’s counterintuitive in light of how much regional temperatures change with the seasons.
