There’s one or more on Hubble. I’ve noticed them digging around in the archive there. They confused me for a little while because I didn’t know what a ramp filter was. At this point, I sort of but not really know what a ramp filter is.

And both effects are due to conservation of momentum and the conservation of energy.

Both the refraction of light equation (Snell’s law) and the diffraction equation are derived from the concept of momentum conservation.
