I recommend looking for the “W” or “M” of Cassiopeia, depending on your perspective. Once you find this, Perseus will appear beneath the “W” . The meteors will appear to radiate from that area.

Last couple nights, they have been coming at the rate of, perhaps, 20 per hour.

I was lucky enough to see the Leonids over Wyoming in 1966. At its peak, there were hundreds per minute. Most of them were little comma shaped blips with the occasional streaker. There’s been nothing like it since.
