But it’s also tidally locked with Charon, so if you were on Pluto, Charon would always be in the same place in the sky.

I’m really confused. I’ve heard of historians comparing the redness of classical paintings of sunsets during volcanic eruptions but never the blue moon thing.

It would seem to me that one or the other could happen but not both at once.
